Apologies if this is not the right forum - feel free to move it mods!
I'm hoping to buy a 3.5 tonne lorry at the end of the season, and will have a absolute maximum of £20,000. Can anyone recommend good makes of horsebox? I've heard wildly varying reports of the most common makes!

We have had three of these small boxes, first one was made by Horsemaster and was a solid little box but was certainly over the weight limit it also had top doors that opened out over and twice they flew open when i was driving, we fixed this by having a small bolt put on to secure them, second one i got was a Chaigley which the chap built for us as we needed extra height ,had same problem with top doors on this one but again easily fixed although i would never have another one and please if you look at one of them check out the milage on it. I now have an Equi trek which we bought new in 2011, this one is the best we have had so far, i know some people have had problems with the Equi trek but ours has been fab, i can use mine twice a day and its stood up to all kinds of abuse so far , lovely to drive and easy to use and the horses all love it. Best of luck in your search , hope you find one suitable.

thank you for your reply - what sort of mileage would be reasonable for a small lorry?
