My mare is in her last week of her first pregnancy and has become very stiff behind and is walking oddly through her back legs, she has no heat or pulses in hooves e.c.t, has anyone else's mare shown these symptoms?

Most likely uncomfortable from the foal moving round, it may be turning and lining up ready for the birth, but if you're worried get the vet to check her.

Already had vet to check, got no useful answer, so thought I'd ask the breeding experts lol

it sounds as if the foal may be laying on the siatic nerve
