Hi everyone! My pug was wormed about 2 weeks ago because she kept scooting her back end around the carpet then turning to smell it so I just thought it was worms! She had been doing it for about a month! Turns out it isn't as she continued to do it so had a little look down below and her woman bits are red and looks very sore and inflamed. She was spayed about 3 months ago. Anyone any suggestions?

I would guess that she needs her anal glans cleaned out, so you will need to take her to your Vet

She could be constipated and the pooh isn't completely coming away. If she is straining and rubbing to get rid of it that will make her sore.

It's not there, it's her lady parts! It's really hard to describe, like dried blood and rash all the way around her foofoo....

Has she recently been in season? Could she have an infection?

Sorry just read she was spayed. I'd take her back as it could be infection through that. Or a water infection.

Does sound like an infection of some sort, maybe a water infection. Has she been going for a wee more often, or has she had accidents? It could also be an allergy to something, or a fungal infection, so the vet is your best bet xx

She has had a water infection before and isn't acting like it is again. If its no better Monday I'm going take her to the vets. It does look like eczema (if that's possible) or like heat rash!
