I think if you had specific questions people would be happy to help, perhaps you could ask about the things you're not sure of? We have a separate area for questions and tips where people would be more likely to see your queries.

a lot also depends on what breed you are showing and if you are showing at local shows or at county level will your daughter be lead rein or first ridden?

Will be hopefully showing at county level in lead rein show pony classes. Have got some work to do as like most ponies he is a bit wooly at present.

Don't think much has changed really apart from LR rider age has gone up to 8 this year for show ponies.
