14.1hh 11yrs Irish Sports Type Showjumping Pony
Majestic Blue (Blue) is an Irish Sports type 14.1hh 11 year old whos talent lies with showjumping. Blue is the most loveable, friendliest pony you will ever come across and will be nearly impossible to replace! Everyone comments on it, not expecting to find a pony this loveable again, so very sad sale but I have outgrown him.He needs to go to a loveable and competitive home,. You can tie him up for hours on end brushing him, and giving him cuddles, he loves it! He comes to call, and is fine to tack, shoe etc. He has lovely flowing paces and a bold jump.
Blue has been to many events at the David Broome Event centre including the May Getaway where he came 5th out of many, also the championships of Great Britain which he achieved 2nd out of over 200 entries. He has jumped BSJA a few times on a ticket, getting clears. He has cleared 1.15 with ease at home. Blue has also competed XC upto 3'3. He works on an outline and on the bit at all times. Blue has been competed at local showjumping shows upto 2"9 for the last 2 years and the odd hunter trial, but needs to be doing higher or doing BSJA as he has lots of potential! Only lack of confidence has stopped me from competing higher, but he has also been a real confidence booster! Blue would easily affiliate BSJA. When Blue gets into the ring, he knows his job and will take you around the course jumping off any stride and he turns excellently! He normally comes home with a ribbon from showjumping everytime as he is so careful, and fast ( but controllable!) He always tries his hardest to please, and will give everything a go! He would do a lovely dressage test aswell.
Blue is 100% in traffic and is used to farm machinery, lorries, etc. Although in open spaces, Blue needs a confident rider as he can get excited and strong.
He has also hunted with Banwen Miners hunt and behaved like a dream. Blue needs an experienced confident rider as NOT a novice ride! and would suit a teenager wanting to do showjumping and come home placed! VERY sad sale, but sadly outgrown! 5* loving home for this lovely boy!
