Hi about three weeks ago i bought a 14.1 belgium warlm-blood! When i rode him he couldnt even walk all he did was jog and he kept going straight into canter and bucking! he wasnt being naughty he just didnt no what to do. but i have taught him to walk calmly and he can now walk without jogging and i taught him to stand and wait till i ask him to walk again!!! today i jumped him and he galloped at the jump and galloped off after but after calming him down i manged to just trot him over the jump and just trot off after and i could stop him and he was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! pm if you want to no how i did it!!!!

My pony started becoming fast into jumps so what we did was halt him in front of the fence (at a distance in which he can still get over it) and then gently squeeze him on over the fence as it should make him canter steadily into the jump because he doesnt have the time to run at a gallop over the jump. worth a try
