Anyone know why the NPS are not providing a timetable this year. As the schedule is a bit of a mess and classes clash such as FR final and HOYS FR it's a nightmare trying to work out for 2 ponies what classes to enter. I'm amazed that a show this size does not provide one. Even one day shows have timetables. I have rung the NPS office and couldn't get an answer other than one had been asked for??
A post on FB got an answer from NPS that one wouldn't be being provided!
Makes me want to not bother going and just go to PUK or Equifest....

its very frustrating seeing as 2/4 of my finals are likely to clash (2 different ponies) why have they packed the last day with most of the finals ??

TBH I often find the timeplans are more of a hinderance than a help. Many of the classes has times in the schedules, I found this a lot easier to work with. Don't forget that there are a lot of qualifiers at the show, so a lot of the finals have to be on the last days. We have two that clash as well, so have chosen the one we think we are more likely to do well in.

I just do my own. Decide which classes you want to do each day. We take three ponies each day so I do a list for each day and pin it up in the lorry. Name of pony. Ring no. start time. which class e.g. 2nd. Class number. Name of Judge. Any remarks such as classes may clash with another pony in another ring so make sure that pony is warmed up ready to do a quick change over.
That way we all know what each pony is doing and can keep a check on rings for any timing problems. A quick look at the list and even if no-one is at the lorry to ask, we all know who is in at what time and in what ring.
If all goes to plan it looks very easy, but it doesn't always work out so then we have to decide what class is more important and which one to scrap. The evening performance list goes up as well and always put a copy in the grooming box so you know which class and time you are in the ring. - simples Lol

Everything clashes for me this year, 2 girls sharing a pony and the FR/JNR final and Hoys As all in at the same time - we would like to do all three, same on the first day too, 3 classes in a the same time  |

We have only entered 2 finals and they are on different days. Not sure what sort if a hand you might need but my daughter only has the HP JR on the Friday do if you need a hand tacking up or whatever I am sure we could lend you a hand ?? |
