Saw a pony for sale on horsequest rang several times to try & view said pony, lady was very evasive on phone, I asked to email me some pictures 3 days later and another two phone calls no pictures. So I decided to take plunge and called to say I will buy him Blind if you can guarantee no splints lumps or bumps on his legs she assured me there was none, asked for her bank details to basc money into her account then said I will collect him in week was very snotty on phone wouldn't give me her details ! Then three hrs later got a text message to say sorry husband has sold pony without me knowing wtf so angry why cant people be straight with you and just say oh someone else is coming to look at him. It's hard enough trying to find something nice without having to be messed around too I was willing to travel over 250 miles to collect pony sometimes I really just wonder why I bother

Sounds like you had a lucky escape!!!! Why would you even consider sending money to someone for a pony you've never seen when the owner is being 'evasive' in the first place!!!!!!!! Ridiculous!

I would never buy something that I hadn't seen in the flesh - no matter how many friends had seen it and recommended it - sounds like you had a very lucky escape!
