no numnah as if saddle is fitted properly it shouldn't need one

I was always taught in a turnout class no numnah but there's another thread going on here where people are saying different. Maybe gillwales and I are more old school.

I don't generally use one in the show ring as my saddle has always fitted well but iwas going to use a thin one just cos she has just been clipped and she gets a bit tickly lol. She's like the princess and the pea

She's like the princess and the pea In that case I would probably use one them for your horses comfort :-) as long as its clean, neat and fits well I've never seen it make a difference. I used one last season when my daughter did best turned out as pony doesn't like not having one on, and she won everytime out.
