I did PUK for years and years, even when it was at Peterborough and really enjoyed, until 2 years ago..... and it died! We have done Equifest since it began, and its like the old puk, fun, competitive, big classes and a superb evening performance!!! My 12 year old, who has been showing at top level for 8 years, just LOVES the atmosphere at Equifest and says it not worth getting through to an evening with no competition and atmosphere! Well done Equifest we loved the summer show, PPS Ponies UK we love you, just bring back the show at Peterborough, and the fun atmosphere!!!

Never done either but i am going to equifest 2014 with a new horse i have just taken on - been desperate to go there for years - probably because of the dream of going into the evening performance but its always been equifest not PUK that i have wanted to go to? Not sure why though? might try both this next year

PUK.. COST IS AN ISSUE I FEEL, I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER, MY HORSE HAS TO BE A MEMBER, AND MY RIDER HAS TO BE A MEMBER, CLASS PRICES ARE EXPENSIVE, AND LAST TIME WE COMPETED 24 ENTRIES WERE CATALOGUED AND 42 CAME FORWARD, WE WERE PLACED BUT NEVER RECEIVED OUR WINNING MONEY, JUST FEEL WE WERE PAYING MORE AND GETTING LESS EVERY YEAR...
EQUIFEST.. JUST BEEN FOR 3RD YEAR, WAS DISSAPOINTED ON A FEW POINTS, LACK OF TANNOY ANNOUNCEMENTS, STABLING NOT MADE CLEAR, ALTHOUGH WE ARE MEMBERS AND HAD MEMBERS STABLING, WE WERE ACTUALLY OUTSIDE THE PERIMETER FENCE, COULDN'T GET INTO SHOWERS AFTER 10PM ETC.. GATES WERE LOCKED... NOT HAPPY REALLY..
BOTH HAVE PRO'S AND CON'S.. PERSONAL CHOICE..
NOT SURE WHAT WE ARE DOING NEXT YEAR..

£15-00 verses £25 -£30-00 per class is the deciding factor for us!

Puk every time for us, i wouldn't put our ponies though all the hype of those evening performances at Equifest.
