This is our first champs for years and years (competing anyway) we are now getting mega excited! We have 2 ponies going and we are looking forward to watching all the evening performances with their electric atmosphere and hopefully meeting some new friends! Anyone else going down? We are setting off on the Wednesday.

I'm hoping to be there for about 4pm on wednesday. My number came through today as did my stable form. I'm totaly unprepared which is slightly scarey!

no idea, I'm in bronze stables. I'm trying to track down small bales of hay or very dry haylege to take with me (he goes off his head and gets the runs on normal haylege and I cant exactly put a half ton bale of hay in my lorry)

Silver are the temporary stables. I think the only permanent ones are the stallion block and the sponsors.
I am taking 2 traditional stallions and a yearling.

Last year there was shavings already in the stables as bsps is on the week before. We ran out of hay while down there and bought a bale off arena uk at £5 think they'd under charged us though but I wasn't about to correct them ,it was a well packed bale as well weighed a freaking ton!!! There's a feed shop just off the round about near arena uk which sell shavings so could always nip there. I'm looking forward to it this year. This is my little holiday CHILD FREE!!!!...

Im really excited and starting getting organised. Arena uk said hay is £6 a bale haylage is £8 a bale and shavings are £8 a bale. Im going to buy when I get there as shavings here cheapest are £6.60 and will take room up in the car. I dont think £6 for hay is bad and hardly worth taking a million nets if we can do the there and again save room.
We are camping wiyhout hook up I think but could do with lending someones hook up to pump up the air beds if anyone doesnt mind. I can bung a few quid your way but seems a bit steep at £100 to just pump the beds up.

God I hope it's not £100 otherwise we will have to drag the generator out!! So u will all know which ones we are then with the yellow wagon and a genny fired up!! We are planning to take 4 baled of hay and 6 shavings between 2 ponies for Wednesday to Saturday does this sound about right to people? Please feel free to come and use our hook up to pump up your beds! And anyone else pop round just to say hi and most importantly have a glass of vino!!

I have an email from arena uk saying they are charging £25 per night for hook up and its first come first served.
£55 I dont mind at all but 100 when my main priority was phone charge (which arena uk have been very heloful with) is not really viable for me

crosses fingers and touches every bit of wood she can reach - This wwill hopefully be our first time that we actualy make it to CHAPS. I've entered for the last 3 yrs but had problems meaning the pony couldnt go! Please say Hi, I'll be on a nervy splodgey plaited pony, probably about to pass out from nerves myself (which wont help the pony!)

Charges phone fine.

WH Management Group have put a comment on BSPS "Plugs" thread that they have a socket that they will charge phones from in their office for a donation to Help for Hero's, they are also at CHAPS!!
