Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS ON QUALIFYING HOYS 2013!!!!
Red House Farm will be holding a PRE HOYS Working Hunter day!
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE QUALIFIED FOR HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW TO ATTEND.
This day will be fantastic for novices, getting them used to an electric atmosphere!
BUT people must remember that it is a PRE HOYS practice day so jumps will be set to the heights of the HOYS courses!
The days will be set out just like HOYS, top quality indoor with HOYS 2012 surface, fantastic range of HOYS working hunter fences, music, clapping, flowers, white rails, banners & music. We will also be having a BBQ, soft drinks and wine so that we can all make a day of it!
21st September 12pm we will hold a FLAT practice.
We will book people into hourly slots in groups of four, grouping all lead reins, first riddens and horses in similar heights. The flat day will consist of a go round, individual show & a confirmation trot up.
The flat days are priced at £10 per hour slot per horse.
If more than two horses are entered, we will try our best to group your horses at slots one after the other.
Bookings for the flat classes MUST be made in advanced so that we can give accurate times to all competitors.
28th September 12pm we will hold a WORKING HUNTER practice starting:
12hh - 12pm
13hh - 1pm
14hh - 2pm
15hh - 3pm
intermediates & Horses - 4pm
All M&M ponies & Plaited ponies will jump in the appropriate height section.
These classes will contain a jump round and flat show around the fences. A confirmation section is available for anyone wants to practice but not compulsory!
The jump day will be priced at £10 for one class and £17 for 2 rounds.
The working hunter is best to be booked in advanced due to the large amount of interest we have had in the days! Again, this will help us to determine whether the classes need to be started later/earlier.
Joanne Shaw will be onsite to give tips & advice to those competitors who wish for advice. As a competitor at HOYS for over 12 years, individual BSPS young judges winner and a producer of both flat & working hunter HOYS finalists, Joanne has the experience and the eye to give you and your horse the best possible chance at this years HOYS!
