She is still at it she has just sent a private message to me, using the name kstp admin can you not do something about this. The mods were aware of this 5 hours ago yet 2 hours ago she is still able to pm someone and try to get money out of them. also can the title of this thread be changed to show her many aliases so anyone doing a google search will be able to find this thread - the title misspm8 wont alert anyone. |

I was aware of this but as I don't have access to all the mod functions ie blocking there isn't much more I can do than ask people to be extra vigilant. As soon as Admin or GL are on i'm sure they will action a ban immediately.
I myself have been scammed in the past so would like to see and end to this pronto too.

I have just had an email in response to my request for a Fylde saddle from Poppy Eastwood in Leeds by Blackberry Smartphone which I declined due to this thread on HG and told her so .. then within a very short time, I have been receiving messages from a Catherine Jenkins from Leeds by Blackberry Smartphone with photos of a very smart brown leather/suede Fylde Mick (or very similar) for which she is only asking £380 including courier, seems far too cheap and I have had difficulty in getting the measurements from her ... I smell a rat!

no matter how much you complain nothing will get done I paid £75 for a concert ticket which was a scam and nothing ever came of it even though this person has scammed 100s of people

KTSP is still a member on here as she has just tried to sell me saddles! Literally posted an advert today and she pm'ed saying she has some, and is currently texting me pictures! Of I hang read this thread I wouldn't of had a clue!

The pictures she's sent me are of saddles in different places and look like they've just been copied off google! I now have her mobile number and something needs to be done about her!

Unfortunately we don't sit at our computers all day. I have had a mare at the vet's so have not been online since last night. Her account has now been disabled. Can members please be vigilant and if you see any further suspicious activity let us know as she could have another account without us realising. |

Hi, Me too, a bit that didn't turn up yesterday - lying thieving bit*h! We need to go round together and give her a d**n good hiding as that is all her sort will ever understand. Hope all her family and friends suffer terrible fates for covering for her, as they are just as bad. At least one day when she finally dies she'll burn in hell!!!!!

I haven't been done by this piece of work but people like this make me sick and I would do exactly that, go round and give her a kicking and take back something to the value of my money!! However if I had been ripped off and I was going to take these steps I wouldn't broadcast it on a public forum first. People are trying to take the correct steps to bring this scammer to justice and the relevant authorities aren't interested so yes I would definitely be taking things in to my own hands IF I had been ripped off!!! |

I have read this thread in total horror. How can someone get away with this? Spoke to OH who is a Senior Crown Prosecutor and he can not understand why police have done nothing. Says he deals with cases of fraud with far less evidence. This has made me very uncomfortable about buying/ selling on here as a genuine person.
Mods could this thread be put in a prominent place so no-one else is subjected to this fraud?

I have sold bits and rugs on here recently and I dont have a paypal account (after watching rip off Britain this morning Im not that sure I want one!) I have always said to anyone who wants to buy from me that I can supply them with username of people I have sold to so they can check me out (so far no one has) As soon as the money has reached my account I have posted items by first class post and contacted them to say so and asked them to let me know they have received it. Problem is I think everyone thinks that people are as honest as them and unfortunately they are not! I find this all very depressing. |

Oliver2 I agree with you totally!! I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall - I've rang action fraud, banks etc and no one really seems to be too bother!! I have to say if I have read this thread before losing £380.00 I would have been a lot more dubious about buying. Since this I have learnt to only ever pay by paypal if collecting is not an option - I would always ask for that option first so that you can get their address!! Also oliver2 not sure if you have seen the Facebook page 'scammed by poppy Eastwood' there is even more evidence from hundreds of people that she has scammed!!

I was nearly done this morning. I have a wanted advert on here for a Samantha. She contacted me.
She firstly said she has a PayPal account that I could pay into. Then started making excuses about it not being working.
She want the money transferred direct into her account. I was wary as the price for the saddle was cheap !
Anyway when she sent me the details I thought the name Poppy Eastwood rung a bell.
Looked on here and thank goodness thanks to HG I realised who it was.
IT IS APPALLING THAT SHE IS GETTING AWAY WITH IT !!

If you see something you may want to buy check out the historical posts of the seller.. She has been registering then posting one word comments on picture posts etc to get her post count up in order to be able to place an advert. We will do all we can but you need to be vigilant yourselves. I'm very dubious about buying at the moment. I feel sorry for all the genuine sellers.

Everyone who has been a victim needs to contact the investigating officer - Richard Coulson at Kent CID, his email is richard.coulson@met.pnn.police.uk
He is keen to hear from anyone who has any information, the more people who contact him the better case he can build for when they finally catch her.

I'm surprised to read she is using Sophie's name, considering the pair of them were doing it together this time last year. I was duped by Sophie but named and shamed her until I got my money back, took weeks tho and yes (as prolly already written in the thread done where) they are two separate rat bags.
