What is everyone's opinions on WOW saddles, I suffer from scoliosis and a rotated pelvis, I'm in agony a lot of the time and a few people have suggested a WOW might help me. I could probably just about afford a 2nd hand one as my husband has said he will help me out buying one if it will help my back, but the problem is I've no idea what sort I need, I spoke to WOW and they gave me the number of my nearest WOW fitter Keith in Wetherby but he doesn't do 2nd hand and wants £120 to come out and let me sit in one and tell me what size I need. I know I need a 17" and am wanting the deepest seat and dressage pads but the rest I'm not sure about. Any input would be great thanks

Try Sarah at saddles direct, she used to have them in regularly. At least you could then try one without huge expense. I did this a few years ago, but it made my back worse than ever and my horse that bucked already was even worse in this. Plus the whole thing felt very unstable, due I assumed to it being a modular saddle and as for the air in it, well imagine riding a horse wearing a bouncy castle - that is the best way I can describe how it felt to sit on. So glad I tried one out first, as it was probably the worst saddle I've ever ridden in, but that was just my own experience. Try it yourself and take your time doing so is the best advice I can give you. Hope it goes well.
