We haven't had a cat for a couple of years because we knew we would be moving a long way, about five counties. Our last cat had to be pts by vet because his kidneys had failed at the ripe old age of 26, so although we are not cat experts, we would be able to give a cat a good home. We miss Toby, a large ginger and white fluffy, very loud purring, lovely cat.
We now live on Bodmin Moor at St Breward and I have contacted vets, Cinnamon Trust and RSPCA but still have not found a cat. We have an ideal home to offer I would think, as we are at home all day, have a well mannered, cat friendly collie and two crazy chickens together with the bosses, two teenage horses. We have land, live some way off a village lane, next to a quiet common. We have stables and sheds and plenty of room.
Anyone in the Bodmin Moor area need to rehome a friendly cat?

Such a shame that you are so far away from cheshire. Our neighbour moved out last week and the evil git has left his lovely cat behind!!! We are currently feeding it but can't take it in. Such a lovely little thing he is too. :-(

People are so dreadful- just dump it if you get bored with it! Seems a perfect match but obviously a huge distance apart!!.

So any takers in cheshire for this poor little cat? We are feeding him and have opened the garage so he has some shelter. He looks very sad. He is only about 3 years old. Very friendly.

Have you tried Cats protection league, they are usually full to bursting. Not sure where your nearest one is, but it will be on their website.

Agree re Cats Protection, excellent place to find a lovely new cat and lots of support to help your new companion and yourselves to have a long and happy future together.
I was in my local branch on Weds this week and they had the most adorable and loving cat curled up in their office, absolutely desperate for a new loving home. She is called Rosella and is only young and was taken there as her owner had had a baby and no longer wanted her - I know, leaves you speechless grrr - she is so friendly and gentle and the staff are really wanting to find her a new home quickly as she isn't doing well in the pens and will thrive on love and attention. Please can anyone help to find her a new slave to love and purr to, as I have had this cat on my mind ever since seeing her, and if I could have her myself then I would, but I have three adult males and it would cause chaos apparently, so I sadly can't, but would love to be a part of just helping her to find someone to love her. She is at St Helens, Merseyside branch if anyone can help. You would not be disappointed if you gave Rosella a home, I'm sure.
