I had my brand new ifor williams trailer stolen in October 2012, the police found it 3 weeks ago on a local traveller site and have since called me 4x to ask the same questions and info about it..........So the general public get accused of wasting police time, who is paying for this duplication in phone calls to me about my trailer? And will the thieves be prosecuted? ? No probably not and now I'm getting agro from the police, honestly there is no justice. My advice buy an old trailer it's less attractive to pinch.

A friend had her old trailer pinched. It was parked in front of an I.W.as a deterrent-so the thieves nicked them both!

I had an Ifor Williams stolen and they dragged it across a muddy field and drove off down onto the Irish ferry at Fishguard( we think) It was recovered 10 years later at a Dublin sale. The police made no effort to find it and I doubt they even knew what a horse trailer was!!! Eventually Interpol phoned us Did we want to go and collect it from Dublin?
