So the format for hunters has changed with no afternoon performance for the top 9.
SHGB issued a memo stating competitors should wear tweed..... this has resulted in extensive social media debate and now another memo has been issued by SHGB stating its up to the competitor if they wear hunt dress or tweeds
What does everyone think? - and what to do?
Should us amateurs opt for the fabulous opportunity of riding in hunt dress at the championship show we've worked hard to get to or should we follow tradition and wear tweeds?
What do the professionals think? - and what will they do?

There should be no debate. Because the scrapping the afternoon final nine is the point we should all be up in arms about. This was cancelled years ago when McCluskers sponsored the hunters. There was a riot then and the sponsors cancelled the sponsorship. How much do all competitors pay in levy over the years?? Thousands I expect and now HOYS have banished the hunters to one session. Bad bad bad !!!

None of the other sections get a morning, afternoon and evening appearance in the ring, not even the small hunters.
In answer to the OP, I think most people will wear hunting dress as it is a championship
