Will be interesting to see what they do. We have already qualified for the summer champs novice and intermediate but we are large so wont affect us apart from the fence height might go up if they make 4 sections

not been announced yet but the lady i spoke to seemed to think they are going to 4 sections (be silly not to) so novice large (exc 143cm) would still remain at 2'9 i would have thought seeing as starter stakes exc 143 is 2'6

I had heard that the nps worker classes will stay as just 3 sections for next year.

Seems strange to have them one way for hoys and different in the other classes apart from starter stakes. Keep them all the same either way.

PUK BSPS and NPS starter Stakes are 4 sections along with HOYS and RI NPS would be stupid to keep the others as 3 sections as m,y pony who is under 143cm only has to jump a tad bigger for the RI than the bloody novice!!!

Surely it will be a bit difficult to change to 4 as they have already had some qualifiers for next year in 3 sections.

no different from them changing the RI after the 4 qualifers held late in 2012

no different from them changing the RI after the 4 qualifers held late in 2012 O yes forgot about that! Doesnt really affect our quals as we are large now and will still be large!!

i have 2 that are currently of the same section, both qualified novice this yr so had to chose who to take i have my 2014 novice ticket for the one i held back and my 2014 open ticket for the other but i would rather they split it other wise my 14hh will be jumping HOYS/RI opens rather than the NPS one at 3'3 if the heights remained at the 3

I can't see any reason for the NPS to remain the only society with 3 sections. The HOYS / RI qualifiers have worked well with 4 sections, likewise the BSPS / PUK etc so would make sense for the NPS to do the same for 2014.

Come on nps follow suit.

Please NPS don't follow the crowd. Leave them as they are because HOYS and RI must realise eventually that the new heights do not work for the majority.

Yes come on NPS time to come in line, the 4 new sections are so much better than the 3 old sections & I think that is proven by the cross section of breeds at the finals this year

NPS will lose out as who is going to want to jump a 3'3 open on say a 139cm pony when they can jump a 2'11 HOYS/RI track i know which i'd rather do
