Have been looking at new show hats i think i have the charles owen show jumper xp but am wanting something a little slimmer so was looking at the fiona. then i came across the hickstead and they look pretty similar. Does anyone know how similar they are?

Check the fit of the Fiona before you decide. My daughter has the CO Show Jumper XP and it's a comfortable fit, but she can only wear the Fiona for a short while before it gives her a headache. I've heard this complaint from several people, apparently it's made for different shaped heads.  |

I personally think that the Gatehouse Hickstead is a lot smarter than CO Fiona, and it is less bulky. The leather straps on the Gatehouse are softer whereas the Fiona are more stiffer and rigid. As flo1 said, try both hats on and decide which one would suit you more and is more comfortable.  |
