A little bit of sad news this morning my other cat went into kill mode and bit ray around the neck causing loss of oxygen to his brain he had a huge seizure, luckily I heard the commotion and managed to get the other cat off him before it was too late. I managed to calm him down while he stopped fitting. The vets have said keep him quiet and calm as he's very sleepy and a bit out of it. I've been checking up and he's been coming round throughout the day. He's been eating and been to the loo etc he's just a bit spaced out. Have a little thought for him today. I'm heartbroken. I hope he makes a recovery, it was his first day outside yesterday and he was so happy when he came inside and then this happened at 3 am this morning

I'm just so glad he happened to be next to a paper bag else I would never have heard it or woken up. My other cat as been like his big bro. I spoke to my cat breeder friend this morning and she said it's very unusual with ray being a girl ( I still can't get out of the calling her a boy) on the rare occasion this happens it's usually males. There isn't a huge amount the vet can do unless her takes a turn for the worse but he seems to be coming round. These cats are more hassle than my 7 horses put together!

No Randy (notice the R theme) hasnt even got that excuse he has little man syndrome. He used to play fight with my oriental and she ended up in cat hospital with loss of blood and a blood transfusion, but he was only a kitten then. Hes trying to take them out one by one im sure. He wont dare touch Rupert hes bigger than the dog.....or maybe he should take him on get a taste of his own medicine.
thanks x

Just to let you all know I lost little Ray in August. I found him having a fit and I knew my time with him was over. He should never have lived a day never mind 11 months. He was an absolute joy. Miss the little sausage.

Totally devastated at the sad loss of little Ray, how much this little cat touched so many peoples hearts, despite the fact that most of us never actually met him, is incredible. Lou, you have some wonderful memories to treasure forever, which you were kind enough to share with all of us on here and which will keep Ray 'alive' in our thoughts forever. Take care and thinking of you. Well done on giving him such a happy life, short though it may have been, he was very much loved and will never be forgotten x
