It's taken me ages to realise that when my printer tells me that the cartridge is nearly empty it is usually very wrong! I have been using the same black cartridge for a whole two months since it said it was empty, printing all my personal Christmas cards, posters and letters and they still look as good as ever. Bet your life, though, when I'm running off a photo which has to be top quality that it will run out! Do other readers leave theirs in for ever and a day? Look how much money the manufacturers are making when we panic and buy another to replace one that is probably still half-ful. And they're so bl**dy expensive!
