Can anybody recommend a company to make an item of jewellery from some tail hair. I have seen various websites advertising but wondered if anyone has 1st hand experience of any of them. I only have a small amount of tail hair and some of them seem to want large amounts.
Thanks in advance.

Horsehair jewellery on Facebook are amazing. She usually needs a pencil thickness worth of hair when wound tight and about 30cm long

I only took a small amount from our mare and was reluctant to use it all. EquiTails Jewelery made me a pandora bead which only needed 1 stand of hair...... and it is lovely x

09rebel99, no, I had a bracelet made using 3 lots of hair from different ponies. It is woven and plaited and cost £35

i have made afew 4 strand bracelets ,and you need about a pencil thickness of hair and about 12 " at least in length, you need the thickness to fill the clasp ends sufficiently

Went to Tailend Jewellery and the lady was very helpful. I sent the hair that I had and then she called me to advise what options she could make with what there was. A beautiful bracelet was made. When it arrived the box had been damaged by Royal Mail and when I called she immediately sent me a new box in the post. Fantastic service & the bracelet is a perfect reminder of our lovely day at HOYS and the wonderful Sandbank Earlybird. Thank you Tailend Jewellery.
