I am normally very good at knowing exactly who I want to use but I am struggling a little bit this time. I know 'what' Im looking for but Im getting fustrated looking at adverts that are generally quite old and out of date, Ive emailed a few but so far most people havn't even replied! So in case anyone can make suggestions on stallions not advertised I thought I'd ask here!
I'm looking for either a plaited coloured, approx 14.2 to 15.2 and ideally homozygous coloured. If not homozygous then must be a TB type build. Definitely not a hairy coloured or chunky type, as much as there are plenty of quality ones it's not what I'm after for this mare. If I cant find that then I'm looking for a thoroughbred, 14.2 to 15.2. Ideally available AI, fresh or chilled semen.
To use for a 14.2 part bred arab mare, top show quality. Im looking to produce either a quality plaited 'hack' type coloured or a solid coloured hack type from her, but also very happy to use performance stallion as I believe what I breed should also be able to do any job, not just showing.
Any suggestions very welcome!

Try Foxcourt Stud, they do AI, They have a slightly bigger performance coloured stallion, really nice people who know what they are doing, the stallion, who's name escapes me has a lovely nature and a good stock getter

Thank you. Had already emailed a couple of those and had no reply. The others I'll go and research.

Try ringing them direct. When people ring up about my stallion they often say they have e mailed first but sometimes it goes into junk or I just don't get them.

I will do when I narrow it down to a short list. A few of them I'd enquiried about through stallions on line. Why advertise your stallion on there if you don't check emails?! I've always received emails through there for my stallion.

The Lostock Stud' s Acado is 14.2 and homozygous. My sister used him on her section A mare and the result is the most wonderful skewbald colt who has had a very successful year's showing as a yearling. Acado' s temperament is fantastic and from our experience he passes this on to his stock along with movement and presence.

I used Springhills Ballysensation - I got a lovely foal out of a partbred Dartmoor mare.
