What are peoples feelings towards glitter on rider/pony for evening performances?

Cant stand that awful spray on glitter or diamontes round the hat.
Think a nice bit of oil looks alot better for evenings

I just could not stand that because how on earth is putting glitter soaked in greasy oil meant to make your horse look better? I think a glossy shiny coat is tops

I do not like glitter in evening performances looks a bit tacky i think and over the top, all they need is the same as in the day if anything a bit more spray shine to go on under the lights i like.

Awful. If your horse/pony is good enough then all the bling is not necessary. OTT in my opinion

I think it depends on what show it is? I think the kids love it when they can use some glitter at riding club level evening performances and it makes it all fun for them :-)

love evening performances, I even had a dinner jacket and bow tie to match mine for the dog, sad I know but love a bit of glitter and bling, saying that not so much glitter that it changes the colour of the horse/pony a little is often more

it is great fun for kids who have never been in an evening performance before to put on there hats. But other than that I think it looks silly especially if an adult has used it.

Agree glitter on the ponies is a bit much but my daughter loves her diamonte stock.
