I have had a wanted advert on here for a while for some long leather riding boots without much luck! The problem is, I have short but wide legs! I am thinking of buying some new ones, but am still struggling to find any in the right size. Can anyone recommend any brands that may cater for me?

Please can you give a calf measurement in cms and a back height from the ground into the back of the knee.

The only ones I could find to fit when I was looking was Sarm Hippiques - they weren't cheap but they still look good 10 years on I've recently managed to get a pair of Regent Cotswold boots second hand (a bit more traditional) but had to get them shortened and a size too big so that they fit me properly - hoping to break them in over the winter as they are much harder leather than my SH boots which I could immediately wear in comfort.

I have the same problem and now have some lovely Brogini boots. I have a pair that are a bit too tall so I put heel lifts in them ( they were second hand) and a pair which are new but in their sale which fit perfectly. They are lovely

I have the Equitector ones, they do calf sizes up to 20 inches so plenty of room. Very smart boots x

Brogini are really good, they have got a new model out for this year. They come up in different calf sizes and standard or short length and they weren't too expensive at £250. None of long boots fit my legs as I don't have a wide enough calf for my short legs however Brogini were the best fit.

Sent from my GT-N7105 using proboards I agree too re elastic, but on the other hand they are so comfortable and allow you to feel the horses sides so welL, I am prepared to put up with it until something better comes along.
