As requested, please give your views as to the use of the karma system.
Would you like it to be removed from the site altogether, or left as it is?

No, I'm afraid not, we either have to have both or none at all, it's down to the way the site works and we don't have the option to change it.

i have no objection to smites or karmas ,but would it not be possible to do it so that the person who gave it would be seen by the reciever ? and therefore answerable for there actions ?

We are restricted by what is available on the proboards sites and it's either we keep it as it is now, or it is removed. Nothing inbetween unfortunately  |

I voted to keep it.
It is a good way to express views, I think hunter's idea was veyr good but unfortunately impossible!!
There are some immature people on here who smite people for no reason but if someone does write something mean, it gives fellow horse gossipers a chance to voice their views and hopefully the 'smited' in question will rethink what they write on here.

i dont care if they go or stay but i dont agree that you can can slaughtered on here if someone dont agree with you ? after all we supposed to live in a free society to say want we think. i would'nt intentionally affend anyone but i have been - AND + 0n here and people do get upset by this and worse they dont have the guts to put their real name to it ? (probably go back to minus now) there is alot of good advice given on here and thats great why do we have to be so appinionated?  ?? |

well i am new and not posted anything bad and my one and only karma taken offme tonight so i would say loose the system as seems unfair

Definately get rid, there are some awful people who just seem to smite you for no apparent reason,and it hurts when people do it just for F u n. i cant think of any other reason to do it. Ive got 2 smites again and ive not posted anything bad. so who is it. face the music and speak up.
