NCPA Cheshire are trialling a new show format, we would be delighted to hear what you think.
You can enjoy entering classes individually or go for the ultimate prizes of the day to the best horse, pony, M & M and Junior by competing in four sections. The four sections are in hand, ridden, dressage and training stakes. Your placing from one of each of these four disciplines go towards the supremes at the end of the day. All four classes for £22 per combination! Great prizes to be won.
Qualifiers for NCPA Golden Anniversary POY, Equifest, NPS dressage and CHAPS.

Class 7* Genuine First Year First Ridden Rider - Show Pony/Hunter Pony or M and M
Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th Birthday before 1st January in current year. An attendant may enter the ring. Walk and trot only.
Class 8 Lead Rein Show Pony/Hunter Pony
Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th Birthday before 1st January in current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.
Class 9* Mountain & Moorland Lead Rein
Not exceeding 122cms.To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bit, the leading rein to be attached to the noseband only. The reins must go directly from the bit to the rider’s hands. Riders must have attained their 3rd but not have attained their 9th birthday (riders’ ages are as at 1st January in the current year).
Class 10* First Ridden Show Pony/Show Hunter Pony
Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 10th Birthday before 1st January in current year
Class 11 Mountain & Moorland First Ridden
Not exceeding 128cms. Riders must have attained their 3rd but not have attained their 12th birthday (riders’ ages are as at 1st January in the current year).

Mare or Gelding 4 years old and over exceeding 146cms but not exceeding 158cms. Riders not to have attained their 25th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
Class 16 Ridden Coloured: 4 years old and over, any height. Qualifier for the CHAPS Winter Championships 2013 to be held at the BSPS Winter Championships in April 2014.
Class 17 Hack, Riding Horse, Hunter or Cob, Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 or over, any height. Riders any age. May split.
Class 18 Mountain & Moorland Small Breeds including Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh A & B
Class 19 Mountain & Moorland Large Breeds including Connemara, Dales, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Welsh C & D

(Please note: numbers are limited therefore entries will close when the class is full and late entries may be refused)
Class 21 11.15am to 12.15 Genuine Novice Walk Trot Test (A) - Open to any horse/pony combination not to have won a first prize at any dressage event. Includes competitors on the lead rein.
Class 22 12.45pm onwards Prelim 12 (2005) - Open to all, rosettes for 1st – 6th with highest placed Mini rider aged under 12 years and highest placed junior rider under 18 years.
Qualifier for National Pony Society Dressage Championships at Addington.
Class 23 12.45pm onwards Novice 27 (2007) - Open to all, rosettes for 1st – 6th with highest placed Mini
rider aged under 12 years and highest placed junior rider under 18 years.
Qualifier for National Pony Society Dressage Championships at Addington.
Prelim and Novice tests will run consecutively. Declaration board will be available on the day for times to suit.

Class 24 Tots Stakes including lead rein. Child 12 years and under, ponies not exceeding 13 hands.
Maximum height 30cm.
Class 25 NCPA Training Stakes any age, any height, jumps max 55cm and help will be given where necessary.
Class 26 NCPA Training Stakes any age, any height, jumps max 70cm.
Class 27 NCPA Training Stakes any age, any height, jumps max 90cm.
The NCPA Training Classes will be judged as a jumping round only with style marks given for each individual fence and an overall style and manners mark.
