First Pony of Hunter Type at HOYS?

It would be lovely to have this class as the children on LR could then go on to first ridden with their ponies, they have it for SP & M&M, is there a reason why there isn't an equivalent class for SHP? Just interested to know other peoples opinions .........

Good idea I think. I also want nursery stakes for the same reason.

Ive been saying this for awhile the first pony of hunter type shouldbhave a class as should nursery stakes, most other classes have stepping stones for kids

Its for this reason I see these pb arab/welsh class as a waste as it will be full of quality animals that will have qualified as a sp/shp/coloured classes A more useful class could be put on

I agree just giving ponies two classes to do like intermediates doing horse classes. Feel sorry for all that miss out with no classes and others are getting another.

Our new pony has done LR and open 12hh SHP at HOYS for the last few years, and we have bought him this year for our daughter to do LR SHP, with the view of her then doing 12hh, but I do worry that it might be big jump for her and would have loved a first ridden in between .  Well at least we won't ever have to sell him now as he is also eligible for the part bred class at HOYS!!!!
