PUK winter has one listed on their timetable for winter champs? and as far as i know nps 24 is "normally" at their summer show in may?

Seems very strange for PUK to include it on their timetable if they had not been told they had got one although I cant remember them having one before (could be wrong!) |

Not sure why PUK aren't on the NPS list but they usually have a qualifier at the South show (Newbury). It looks as if PUK have axed the south show next year and are holding all the RIHS qualifying classes at the winter champs instead. Wonder if they have lost the NPS RIHS worker classes or if NPS just haven't finalised the list yet???

Also noticed BSPS Area 7 is not on the list. They have had a qualifier for years - usually the first weekend in May.

Have called NPS office & they are checking & getting back to me. There were 22 quals last year but NPS Area 14 is a new one. Think ether they have dropped one or maybe missed one off the list in error!

Tbh we could do with one a bit further north apart from 5 everything is at least 3 hours travelling from me although I am sure everyone is in the same boat. White Rose Co at Leeds always had one but they lost it in 2013

Just had a reply from NPS office & confirm Puk Winter champs DO have a qualifier but unfortunately BSPS Area 7 have lost theirs. Hope this helps with planning for next year! I'm sure it will encourage more people to support PUK winter & boost their entries!!

luckily for me i have 11 within only a 2 hour drive which isnt normally the case!best get practising!

Think its a grand total of 4 for us so dont think we have much chance of qualifying this year! Think its even worse for Hoys!

I don't understand the NPS Area 7 qualifier at end of June. We qualified near end of May last year and had to rush to get entries in.

The qualifiers for this final in the north are extremely thin on the ground..so to have 3 in the same weekend is just ridiculous!
