Hi, I have a 15.2hh Belgium Sports Horse mare and I am thinking of starting showing next year but I have no idea where to start. I am 14, 15 in June and I am around 5"3 if that helps. What classes would I do, what tack would I need, what should I wear and any tips?

You could do the intermediate show hunters, or working hunters (jumping)! For show hunters youll need a double bridle and a straight cut saddle, a numnah you cant see or no numnah at all, for yourself you need a navy showing hat, a tweed jacket, shirt and tie, canary yellow jods and long boots  hope that helps |

No pretty brow band for hunters! You need a plain bridle preferably with a flat brow band and a wide flat nose and. Or just your regular bridle of its suitable but with a plain brow band. Good luck x

Take a look at the sport horse classes too. Flat based around a ridden display and performance incorporating jumping ( I think!)
