Still searching for a saddle for Herbie (10.2hh very wide). Will probably go with Native Pony Saddles (I believe the local fitter is Stephanie who is on here) once the spring has sprung and the kids want to start riding again! But have also been recommended both John Goodey and Maurice from Colne Saddlery, both of whom do a good range of second-hand saddles, which is tempting as money doesn't grow on trees. Any info on these saddlers would be appreciated (either good or bad feedback pls). TIA

Maurice is fab, he has been a well respected and recognised master saddler for years with an excellent reputation.

Kruger Saddles near Wakefield, Kim Gordon, are very good. They are made to measure and do a great job with excellent after service. We had one made for our Welsh D and it's a lovely job.Can really recommend them. Google Kruger Saddles for contact details.

Thanks for your replies. I am in Oxford, so Maurice may come this far. Wakefield is definitely too far! Tricky little pony to fit makes life difficult and expensive!
