Can't decide between HS1 skull in black or navy champion ventair skull. I've seen both on the circuit and am going to have a go at m&m whp on a young d stallion in the summer. Which does everyone think looks the smartest? Or any other suggestions?

Out of the 2 prefer the HS1 as fleah leather harness. However the clasp us very bulky. I have a HS1 For XC & find it very comfortable & nice to know it has the snell standard. Champion make some very nice velvet silks which actually make a skull cap look like a proper hat; www.aivly.co.uk/shop/products/id/32260.htm#.UsQ_dNOnzFoI used to use my HS1 for workers and had a bowler for the flat, but new rules so have brought a C/O Wellington classic & absolutly love it! Gatehouse RXC, the new skull cap is also very nice, same fitting as the conquest & is ventilated aswel. Will be my new skull cap when i need to replace, as i love my conquest & the removabke washabke linings.

Also have a look at the j3, I would also ditto the Wellington classic its triple standard so actually whilst being a velvet hat has a higher safety rating than the vent air, and the rcx. The hs1 now only has en1384 and snell so does not cover pas015 anymore. The only hat with all four safety standards is the 4star but it would be a bit bulky for workers.
