Not sure if a rug exists but after a turnout that preferably comes with a neck ( can be detachable) but it has to be buckles not clasps at front as pony attaches itself to haynets etc, not keen on leg straps but has to be a high filet string etc so cant get legs in a mess , preferably breathable so he can wear for the odd night in the stable.
Pony has habit of getting himself out of rugs in field even when all fastened and don't want any rug injuries if can be helped !

I am not a fan of leg straps either.I use a Bucas rug on my 13 hand pony. It's on it's 3rd season.and is excellent. It does dual purpose but they have a newer one that is even better but pricey.Strong front fitment. It says put and NO straps. Had a few issues with cheaper rugs and the dog clips snapping.
