Who uses them all the time? Ive had mine for years and there is no denying it does a great job keeping my mare warm but its a terrible shoulder rubber and i feel like ive got my girl wrapped in layers putting a bib under it, especially when it says it has a anti rub lining! Ive contacted snuggy they said i have to make sure i use it with a bib and add baby oil too the rubbed area to stop it more! Any one else got the same prob?

Don't have anything rugged now but used them full time in the past with no rubbing, in fact I would add one to prevent rubbing!

Have used Snuggy Hoods turnout and fleece stable hoods for years and never had trouble with rubbing. They do need to be kept clean inside though as a build up of grease will rub !!

I haven't had a problem
I wash mine often, I use lots of fabric conditioner and I also spray diluted Megatek on the shoulders before putting the hood on

my horse lives in his with 2 rugs on top and have never had a problem with rubbing. I do spray the neck line with show sheen though to protect his mane.

There is now a new company making super turnout hoods, they are called 'lively hoods' especially good for natives. They have extra room on shoulder to help prevent rubbing.
