Hi, I'm completely confused by the Equifest schedule. The more I look through it, the more confusing I find it. I don't know if I'm just being a very thick amateur or whether it seems complex to everyone. Can someone be so kind as to explain it to me. Why do several of the showing classes appear to be duplicated on different days? Am I right in thinking that a lot of the classes, you don't have to qualify for? There is unaffiliated jumping with identical classes on more than one day so does that mean that you can enter the jumping on any of the days that happen to suit you. Why do they duplicate classes or are the classes later on in the week, ones that you have to qualify for. Sorry for all the questions

The only classes you have to qualify for are the 700 plus numbers and they usually have equifest in front of the class, the others you just need to meet the class criteria.

Thanks for that info Clifton. Looking back at the schedule now makes it a lot easier to understand. Think my friends and I might just have to try Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Equifest this year. We have done the USOC a couple of times and absolutely loved the atmosphere so we really missed not having a weekend away last year as there was no USOC in 2013. The lorry carries 4. Two horses that like to jump and do workers, one cob and a young pure warmblood between us all so our classes are quite varied. I can now look to see if the schedule will be able to accommodate us all in the last 3 days of the show as we cant make it for the full 5 days. Are you able to book stabling for just Friday and Saturday night.

I think you can book stabling for two nights, if you book early enough, I think the classes are different on the Sunday, I don't think they are run by Equifest, usually different organisations book a ring for the day.
