16'2 Registered Welsh x TB Bay Gelding, 9yo.
Llwynaeron Bommer - Ron - Bloodlines include Menai Sparkling Lady and Nebo Black Magic.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has lots of patience who wants a project horse.
Ron was broken in last year, and has been hacked out for the last 12 months helping him to obtain a natural balance. He isn’t intimidated by any traffic, no matter how heavy and will take the lead or go behind and doesn’t get fizzed up if horses canter past him.
Ron was lightly shown in-hand in 2012, he has excellent confirmation and fantastic floaty paces.
Sadly Ron has some trust issues with humans, I have owned him for 2.5 years and have no problems with catching, mounting, turning him out, however, the new owner must be prepared to work with him and give him time to gain that trust. He can be sensitive to the leg when working in the school and be a little flighty. For this reason he is not suitable for nervous / novice owners.
Once you get to know Ron, he is a very loving horse and has a wonderful character. Keeping Ron in a routine is very important until the new bond is established.
The is a very heart-breaking decision, I will answer all questions as openly and honestly as I can as I want his next home to be long term. Ron needs someone with a calm personality who can be relaxed around him, but can also be authoritative when needed. Finding the right person for Ron is so important as I want him to be happy and settled.
