I never post on here or very rarely do but I just want to share the amazing animal that gave me my life back! Two years ago i suffered a very serious riding accident that turned my life upside down! I was teaching a lesson to a new client who claimed on one particular day she had a car accident and couldn't ride but would love for me to come have a sit myself to keep him going (only the third lesson i gave this girl) well me being me agreed as i always try to do anything i can to help. BIG mistake! I was on the horse all of 5 mins and up and over it went knocking me out cold and waking up in hospital to a crushed leg and black and blue in bruises! Two days later my mum appeared in hospital with my hat split in two where ive since found out i took 3 strikes to the head from the animals hooves! I spent my life in my room unable to move going downhill into a a real bad state of depression.
When i eventually could start to venture out horses was the last thing i wanted to see, hear, smell etc. Until i was dragged to go see to my horse after me and my mum had been out for the day she had to see to him on the way home. I just sat in the car and his head popped over the door and was just staring at me from the car. I did get out and hopped over and did give him a stroke and though no i cant do this anyway weeks went by i had my cast off and if it wasn't for my mum sitting on him and me watching i would have never got on. He was a freshly broken 4 year old at the time so probably not the best sort to get on after my kind of accident but thought id give it a try and two years later here we are!! All i can say is without this amazing horse i probably would have never even attempted to try again let alone get on again!! Thank you Mr T as we call him at home!! And 2014 cannot come quick enough!! (and as if that wasn't bad enough I'm currently sitting at home recovering from appendicitis!) But at least ill be out this season!
And yes believe it or not he is only 13.2HH!!
