So... I have a pony on full loan to me from a friend and I am hoping to compete this pony this season and I am hoping to do the restricted WHP finals at BSPS (fingers crossed I qualify)!! I am slightly confused on how I would go about membership for myself and the pony as he is not in my name. Do i need to do the loan form that is on the website as well as the membership for me and the pony? The owner is a member and I have her membership number too Please can someone help me and explain what I need to do..

Ring bsps if unsure but complete Loan form, register yourself and pony in your name for the year.

I would think that you have to complete the loan transfer form for the year and that you will have to join yourself as a full showing member. Read the rules but it's a bit unclear to me whether you will have to register the pony yourself or whether the owner has to register it in their name again for the year. As said above, ring BSPS for full clarification.

I'd think that if the owner is a member anyway, you'd just join yourself andget the owner to do the pony registration (but I'd offer to pay it!) but enter the owners details on all the entry forms. Unless you'd specifically prefer your name to appear as the owner in which case fill in the loan / transfer form too
