To herald the arrival of spring my young pony helper (L) took my pony (Idyllic Harry Patch otherwise known as Milo) for a fun day out at a small show. They had a great day out (first show for L, second for the pony) Milo does lack some condition and topline and is rug rubbed and sporting what looks like a fresh clip (which wasnt!) so I wasnt expecting miracles but they picked up a few rosettes L won her age section of the junior handler class which was thrilling for her The judge was brilliant and made some very helpful comments to L and he was very patient with us lesser experienced people and gave every trot up and go round his full attention on what must have been a very long afternoon for him. The show was excellently organised and everyone was very friendly We have the showing bug now and cannot wait for the local riding club shows to start Some photos (L's mum has given her permission for these to be posted)

Congratulations!
My daughter used to do young handler classes and learnt a great deal from them.
