Probably a stupid question but can you convert a regular jacket to a cutaway? My daughter has a very plain, not particularly eye catching brown tweed jacket but it's all funds would allow when we needed one and I was thinking about getting it altered to make it look a little more special. Also what colours would you put with a plain brown tweed to compliment a dun 12hh shp, mustard, red, burgundy?

I think reds look very affective with dun ponies

A tailor would probably be able to convert a regular jacket into a cutaway (depending on the design of your current jacket) , but you may find it just as cheap to sell your current jacket on and get a used cutaway in it's place.

Thanks Flo1 the jacket really isn't worth selling, don't think anyone would even pay the postage price for it so I don't suppose im losing anything by trying to pretty it up a bit :-) x
