A reminder for those of you wishing to qualify for horse of the year show, you must have paid the £15 HOYS fee BEFORE entering a qualifying class but please note this is a one off fee for the entire season. To confirm that you have paid, please check your Horse Registration document, on the top right corner inside, if you have paid, it will say “HOYS REG FEE PAID”. You cannot pay retrospectively!
BSHA WEBISTE SAYS THIS

There is no £15 to be paid to HOYS by ANY competitors. Some societies have a registration fee for horses/members registered with them that do HOYS classes. Examples of this are CHAPS and AHS who require competitors to purchase HOYS cards, and BSHA charge their members extra for doing HOYS qualifiers. To re iterate, this money does not come to HOYS and is nothing to do with HOYS itself.

You do not have to get a card from the AHS for the new Part-bred class at HOYS. The charge for the cards is for the Pure bred Arabs only.
