Wanting to hire a trailer or lorry for one day at the end of August, just wondered whether anyone knew of any companies in the East Midlands who do this? We are in Derbyshire and don't want to travel too far. To carry 2 16.0hh at most. Thankyou  |

Parklands Equestrian hire out trailers and 3.5 tonne horse boxes. They are at Junction 31 of M1.

3.5 tonner is very unlikely to be weight legal with 2 horses in it
Anything over a 3.5 vehicle will require a LGV licence usually C1 or C
A trailer will require a B+E licence for 2 horses

We are doing 2 trips with it, so the 16hh will go with a 12.2 pony and the 15.2 will go with a 14.2 , we have looked into it quite thoroughly, thankyou for the information, very useful x
