Fairy was one in a million pony whom we had the honour to own, taking Lottie to her first ever Royal International as a first Ridden - Thanks go to Nigel Hollings for fin her for us, she was a true childs friend, and she died suddenly but peacefully of a heart attack, whilst wondering round the yard with her last family, she was still out showing and doing what she loved best. You will be saddly missed Fairy xxxxxxx

Such sad news. Fairy Tale was a fabulous little mare with exceptional breeding! RIP!

We had Fairy for the last few years and knew her with the family before, my youngest Lucy was knocked off the world by the unexpected loss of Fairy who was looking and going wonderful in the days before and ready for Lucy's last season in first ridden. Fairy had a very special place in the hearts of many children and their parents for the honest way she looked after them. After a small heart attack in the night I spent the last 3 hours in the yard with her and she was fine and happy, then she went quickly with another. She is buried in one of our fields in view of the yard and Lucy has covered her in Daffodils which will come up each year at the right time. We are very happy with the thought that Fairy pasted away with no illness or years of boredom but doing what she did best right up to the end. Whinfell Fairytale - a proper child's pony from the day she was broken all the way through her HOYS and RI showing days, even last year at the age of 22 still showing at the RI. xxx
