My problem is I have really fat calves and whatever long boots I try they don't fit. What are everyone thoughts about jodphur boots and chaps and do you have any recommendations. As I'm going to treat myself to some for my birthday unless someone can point me in the right direction for fat calved long boots they need to be about 18/19 inch around the calf

Chaps are a no but more and more people are wearing short boots and gaiters

Equitector do up to a 21 inch calf! I love my Equitectors, traditional looking and practical. X

My daughter has Equitectors too and loves them, they are pricey but you can get made to measure.
