What are people's experiences with these numnahs? Do they stop slipping as well as not putting as much pressure on the ponies back?

I had one they are fab and the saddle didn't move an inch with it.

I always learned that if a saddle fitted correctly and the pony was sound a numnah should be superfluous to requirements.

I always learned that if a saddle fitted correctly and the pony was sound a numnah should be superfluous to requirements. I'm well aware of that, but these flat backed natives are hard to fit a saddle too without slipping etc, the pony in question is also unbroken so do not want any accidents. |

Highly recommend we use ours for jumping and it's never moved,bought it nearly 12 months ago and still looks like new

It's great to hear feedback, I will be investing in one as I was swithering up until now as I didn't know anyone that used them.

I use them, they are great. My saddles fit and are regularly checked along with ponies backs ... I see no harm in giving my ponies as much extra comfort as possible especially when jumping.

If you can get it from peter at a show think that's the best bet as he got me to try it under my saddle on the horse first,think they might come up slightly small . . Hope that's help  |

They are fab and look great. Though my saddle fitter has removed all the pads as was too much padding and they do come up small in size. Go for a size bigger

They also do an IMPAKT Girth Sleeve which is also non slip and cushioning and works extremely well too.
