Probably a daft question but has the M&M whp championship class (the one on sat you have to qualify for) always been in 4 sections? The qualifier I did was divided up differently so there were 3 height sections including a 122-138 section and an over 138 section. So some people will be jumping a championship course at the height they qualified and some it will be over. It's not a problem (although I've gone from being a big one in a little class to a little one in a big class! ). Just wondered if this was standard as we're new to all of this?

My daughter won and took champion in this in 2012 and as far as I remember there was 4 sections , thought tbh we were in the shp with the worker waiting and literally ran out , jumped onboard and competed, so didnt see the previous sections....Good Luck , we were over the moon to win and take champion on a complete novice pony x

Last year it was in 3 sections, gutted they've changed it as my pony is 13.1hh and would have to jump in the 14hh class, which will be too big for him but the 138cm one was perfect... It means ponies like him will have to jump 10cm bigger than last year!

Also there is no Highland/fells/dales workers this year which is a shame as his height section will be too big for our heavyweight highland to jump

Thanks, glad I'm not going mad. Seems a bit weird that the qualifiers don't match the classes?
