A purpose bred LR SHP/First pony of hunter type not a plaited up welsh, he is a true scaled down middle weight hunter
Excellent conformation and fab movement, this pony is a TRUE childs pony. He is ridden by a 4yr old (who learnt her up downs on him) and a 5yr old. They also ride him in from the field bare back, tack him up, lead him, load him etc etc. The other day, roo was ridden by a novice just turned 7 year old tiny jockey off the lead and did not step a foot out of place, infact in the end she had him going around a course of small cross poles, so i would say he would be a stunning First pony of Hunter type.
Handled daily by tiny tots and used to dogs, bikes, noise and all the commotion that comes from having children! Good to plait, bath, trim, box, clip etc,etc and has hacked on the LR in heavy traffic and no lumps, bumps, vices or blemishes
On top of this he is a true showman and a top HOYS contender. Only shown 3 times gaining 2 firsts, a second and a champion! This pony went to an indoor teach in a month back in hail and winds and did not put a foot wrong. Does not need hours of working in (a quick lunge and away you go), stands happily on the lorry all day and never fusses or creates
A very, very sad sale but we have decided to change direction with our ponies
