Hi everyone, this year will be our first time at equifest we are really excited! What are kind of sizes are the home produced and the PC/RC shp classes, are they of a very high standard? Also is it compulsory for the groom to wear a hard hat in the ring? Or can it be a flat cap type thing?what are the blue stables like? And finally where do I get a veteran number disk from? Sorry for the question overload! Thanks

Hi, the classes are all big, especially home produced and the standard is high, you don't get many producers. Grooms all wear hats in the ring. It's a brilliant show and probably the biggest show in the country with something for everyone, just pace yourself and don't enter loads of classes, spread your classes out then you can enjoy what your doing rather than spend your day running round keeping track on rings! Blue stables are fine. Enjoy

Hi, most of the classes at Equifest are pretty big. We watched the PC/RC class last year and it was quite a big class and a high standard of ponies. A hard hat, flat cap or other casual type brimmed hat is fine.We had blue stables the year before last, they are ok depending on how they lay them out, but we found we had a very long walk from parking to stables. If you are a member, red stables are better, but they do sell out quickly.

Veteran disk you get by joining societies who are for the older horse you don't have to have one for classes at equifest
