Why is there always someone who has to reply to your post who has to rain on your parade? AND... When you put a wanted ad up for example a rug, do people say try eBay, preloved or such and such a horse shop, Seriously? Do you not think we've tried there? When you have so many ponies like me it's not always as easy as nipping to local horse shop and buying a brand new rug sometimes second hand just has to do! People like this make me never want to post on here again! Sorry, rant over! And no offence intended

I remember posting asking a question if everyone was ready for show season and what left to buy, well it got turned on me out of no where which was so petty best attack at me was I buy matching gear so I can prance around the showground with my horse...If these people knew me they would no that is not the way . All I did was try and start off a thread to get everyone chatting! they is some people who are to quick to judge x

Surely correcting inaccurate factual information if/when it occurs is desirable and acceptable? That's an entirely different matter to expressing opinions.

I posted in the dog area saying how happy I was with my cockapoo and how I would recommend the breed as a family animal- someone decided to tell me how I shouldn't be saying he that as he is a mongrel ect ect.
I think people just get a kick out of it

Very true some people just cant help it...!!! It does put people off posting when you want advice or help and then get attacked by the 'KNOW IT ALL' One told me to 'GO AND PLAY WITH MY PONY...!!!!' Im 45 look after 12 horses teach show and judge, it was a legitimate problem and she knew it all.....LOL...

Sometimes though it's just the way in which the written word comes across and also just how you feel yourself at the time. I've just posted an answer to a question about shows in June and got a really curt response but it probably wasn't meant to come across in that manner. I did make me feel like I don't know why I bother, though And Roxy I remember your thread too there was no need for the way that thread went x

It really wasn't meant in that manner at all & I apologise if it came across that way. So yes the written word can be interpret in different ways. (Off to read my reply again now to see how bad it looks!!!!!)

Just re read it and nooooo wasn't curt at all. Maybe I should have put a comma in. But it was a yeah, I saw that, thanks. Not a yes I've already seen it thanks!!!! Reply. Oh god, I can't believe I upset people by posting a thank you. Aaarrrrgggghhhhh I may start using smileys but usually am rushing about and just press quick reply. So sorry to anyone else I've offended but I don't mean to. (Well sometimes it depends what I'm posting!!!!!)

But that's exactly the point I'm trying to make. I'd had a s**t day, was feeling pretty c**p, thought I was trying to help and mistook the tone of the reply. It happens all the time in life especially now we use email so much at work and thank god I don't do Facebook!! Can't get away from it on here as it's an online forum so its the nature of the beast but what I'm trying to say is we all sometimes read into things too much

I like to pop on here occasionally. I listen a lot, learn a lot and occasionally give my opinion only, not forcing it down your throat job. I like this forum, as I think it is a way of getting safe sensible advice. I don't come on here for a debate.
