So... I have a new pony she has not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 white socks!! now I am used to using fairy washing up liquid or tescos own shampoo I swear by it!! But never with white socks. What is the best shampoos to use to get socks whiter than white?? Would It be blue shampoo??? I also need to order 5kg of white chalk from supreme get a little stock behind me as think her legs are gonna take a nice amount!!
Thanks Guys x

Fairy Green is the best, then White paste frm TC Tack, it comes in powder form add a little water and paste the leg, Then use travel badages with Electrical tape to keep them on. Hope it helps

Like the purple spray generally used on wounds, really works to take out the yellow tinges and turn it silvery!

For tails I used to wash with a general soap, rinse, then put a few drops of purple spray into a bucket of fresh water, dunk the tail in, give it a whizz round to get rid of excess and leave it in to dry, worked wonders x

Champion tails silver highlights and then supreme powder made into a paste and painted on then bandaged. Or zinc oxide if you can get hold of it buse the same way as supreme powder.
(I have a very white, white pony and am a perfectionist when it comes to turnout!!!!)

Supreme show products!!
My boy also has 4 white socks. Generally I bath him and leave his legs till last. Give them a quick scrub with any shampoo just to get rid of the dirt and rinse them but don't drain the water from where the socks start. With a damp sponge, dip it into the tub of Supreme powder and rub it onto his legs until its like a thin paste.
Leave it until it dries and it will have turned into chalk. I literally brush it off just before I go in the ring!! its stays so clean I can do this the night before the show and just give them a touch up in the morning if need be.
It really works. We always get many people commenting on his sparkly legs!
